At IDAM, we want to create CHANGE. Change the way we source, the way we create, and most importantly: the way we treat our planet and each other!

As a brand, we never believed in mass manufacturing and unnecessary productions. Hence, we take time and make our products only on-order to avoid excess wastage or lead to dead inventory.

We have always ensured that we work with some of the best and softest eco-friendly fabrics around. We have sourced fabrics from only the best suppliers who monitor their supply chains, standards, certifications, and so on to bring us– and subsequently YOU– the best fabrics in the sustainable field! If the fabric doesn’t have a certification, we don’t use it!

We only use natural fabrics, because they are a better recourse than using polyester. Polyester requires more than double the energy of conventional cotton to produce. The production of polyester uses harmful chemicals, including carcinogens, and if emitted to water and air untreated, can cause significant environmental damage.

The amount of fabric that goes to landfill is tremendous. When we learned how much waste is produced during production, we knew we had to find a better option for our scraps. We’ve created our zero waste collection as a way to give our scraps a second life and keep them out of landfills!

Our aim is simple: Reduce textile waste.

Taking this forward, we designed a range of products which were created using the leftover scraps we had.

We’ve received a great response and we shall continue to add on to the portfolio of zero waste products as and when we launch our new collections.
